A very jolly snail. I originally designed this as a commission with the agreement that it would be added to my collection. Ruth was delighted to have the design named after her!
The design uses very rich jewel shades. The shell is highly detailed with individual patterns. The snail''s body is sewn using warm shades of terracotta, which contrast the dark jade background. The background has deep purple spiral sand dot patterns and the whole tapestry is framed with a colourful spotty border.
