I created this picture by using a combination of free motion embroidery (effectively drawing with your sewing machine) and appliqué. I have used raw silks, and scrim and hessian and Hand dyed antique linen to create the background and the flowers. The soldier and cross are cut from black silk and carefully added as the final step. The words are hand printed to linen gauze and the free motion stitched to the final piece….. they simply say “We will remember”. It has a antique white mount and comes with a bleached driftwood frame. It measures 30 x 30 cm overall.
I have made this as a tribute to my grandfather and all those other soldiers who fought in wars to keep us safe. A donation will be made to the British Legion for each picture sold.

Shipping Policy
Orders are dispatched in 3 working days unless a customised order has been made, where I would agree a delivery date prior to the order being taken.
I use Royal Mail, first class post, and customers can opt for the tracked and signed option for an additional charge.
Refund Policy
Refunds accepted if you are unhappy with the product, but all return postage must be paid by the buyer.
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy
Cancellations are not accepted for bespoke, customised orders.
Since dispatch is normally made very quickly, cancellations can only be accepted within 24 hours of the order. Returns and exchanges are acceptable, with all postage costs being paid by the buyer.
