A quirky and unusual piece of seaglass that was found near one of the most iconic Scottish landmarks, wiht a shape and detailing that shows it orignally was the top of a bottle. It is a vibrant green colour and makes a truly unique seaglass necklace.
Sea glass is formed after glass that has been deposited into the sea, often during the manufacturing process or from old bottles etc., and has been naturally tumbled in the ocean over decades, being broken down and tumbled, and then eventually washed up on the shore, over decades to produce the unique shape and lovely frosted effect seen today.
This piece has come from a beach near the iconic Forth Rail Bridge in Queensferry, Scotland. The glass has been cleaned, drilled and set on an 18 inch 925 stamped silver snake chain.
