A highly unique pendant made from an old brooch.
This stunning necklace features a brass-plated circular pendant, decorated with an array of textures achieved through hammering and oxidisation. Flecks of the underneath copper can be seen, and in the center, two silver metal swirls, the larger of which containing a series of brass spots, further adding to the unique texture and design of this piece that is very reminiscent of the arts and crafts movement from the turn of the 20th Century.
It originally was part of a larger brooch, but the back of the item was badly damaged. As a result, it has been removed from the rest of the brooch parts and set, using a thick piece of silver plated wire, as a pendant on an 18 inch, sterling silver snake chain.
A very unique and unusual necklace, and a true statement piece.
