This tapestry depicts a lion hunt. The central panel figures are a prince on his stallion and the wounded lion, which are surrounded by a wide outer border in dark blue.
This is decorated with wild boars, rabbits, wild geese and a hawk. A lion leaps at each top corner.
The design uses rich reds and old golds contrasting with soft greens and blues.
This tapestry will enchant the experienced needle-worker as there is always something of interest to sew.

Hummingbird Velvet Cross Body BagÂ
The photos don't do this sumptuous velvet justice, it's gorgeous!
Hummingbird design printed velvet front with a reverse in lush dark green velvet, decorated with red and gold embroidered peacock motif jacquard  ribbon, floral jacquard braid and a wide band of cotton lace.
A very jolly snail. I originally designed this as a commission with the agreement that it would be added to my collection. Ruth was delighted to have the design named after her!
The design uses very rich jewel shades. The shell is highly detailed with individual patterns. The snail''s body is sewn using warm shades of terracotta, which contrast the dark jade background. The background has deep purple spiral sand dot patterns and the whole tapestry is framed with a colourful spotty border.
What a Fab Bee and Honeycomb Tapestry Kit, perfect little picture for a gift or to make into a bag front. This kit has stuffing and backing for a teeny cushion too!
