Pheasant Feather Ring

This naturally beautiful Pheasant Feather is teamed with Rustic French Walnut veneer to compliment their organic roots and unique patterning. The recycled feather works with most woods either as a subtle effect or is bold and eye-catching.

(NOTE: I only use feathers that have naturally fallen and those used in new rings may differ from the showcased photo)

I normally make my rings to a mirror gloss finish but you can of course opt to have a matt finish with this wood species**. There is also the option of having the wood treated with oil or wax if you would like which gives a nice sheen and ‘pop’ to the wood grain – I have a couple of different types, or you can choose to leave it untreated ***.

** I would recommend having a clear coat finish to protect the final ring (wood and inlay) as either matt or gloss for low maintenance aftercare, however, this of course is entirely up to you as the customer/ring wearer and there will be extra care required for protection and long-life.
*** There will be some natural wood saturation when a clear coat of resin is applied, but no colour tint.
