Weighted eye pillow filled with Organic Lavender to help you drift off to sleep or help you while meditating. The fragrance of the lavender is so soothing, it helps you relax easily. Just place the eye pillow over your eyes as you are lying down. The lavender shifts and settles around your eye sockets and the contours of your face, blocking out light and letting you relax with the beautiful scents of lavender. It is generally used as a weighted eye mask during a wind-down of a yoga session or when you are in bed, ready to sleep as lavender is naturally sleep inducing.
The eye pillow comes with a removable and washable outer cover. The eye pillow can be used at room temperature or you can warm it by gently microwaving it, without the outer cover, for less than 15 seconds. Please check that the eye pillow is not too hot before putting it over your eyes.
Measurements:
Each pillow is approx 6″ or 15 cm long and 4″ or 10 cm wide and is filled only with the best of Organic French lavender.
Wash instructions:
Wash only the outer cover at 30 degrees to be kind to the planet. The inner pillow is not washable.
Story of the eye pillow:
Our friend is a yogi and loves her relaxation evenings at the local yoga centre. When my friend came over one day, she talked about these eye pillows, but wanted a pure lavender pillow, rather than ones mixed with grains. So, we together made a pillow using my fabric scraps. Given how much she loved it, we have been testing these at local markets and they sell out really quickly. All the fabrics that have been used are made from fabric scraps, all new and unused. The lavender is Organic lavender, so no toxic pesticides have been. All this means these pillows have a small environmental footprint, that makes us very proud. Hope you are too.
