Autumn, the colours, the drama the sheer beauty of the area,
Patterdale, captured in timeless perfection as a fine art photo. This
series of work screams for your attention and grabs you by the eyeballs
dragging you deeper and deeper into the image until you can imagine
yourself stood there preparing to sit on that fallen branch or moss
covered rock to drink your coffee and take in your surroundings.
As you would expect from the Lake District in October it was WET and
WINDY! but his made for some amazing colours and the clouds which lay
constantly above the fells like a grey duvet acted as a giant diffuser
making the lighting perfect for capturing the glow of autumn leaves
contrasting against the dark green mosses and the saturated tree bark
and branches. Take a closer look, you can almost step into this
photograph there is so much depth to it!
This is an original photograph taken by me on a private estate in
Patterdale and is offered here for sale with a percentage of the sale
being donated to the estate so they can continue the great work they do
in conserving this small slice of English woodland. All my work is
tweaked in photoshop, mainly small colour corrections and cropping to
the dimensions of the chosen frames, they are printed by me on a
professional satin/oyster paper on a Canon Pro-100s using genuine Canon
ink (A4 and A3 ), thus ensuring professional quality with lots of colour and
quality. Prints are posted in a stiff hard back envelope.
It’s time to banish those blank walls and bring a timeless slice of
nature into your home to warm the senses and feed your imagination.
