Blank greetings card September, Sapphire and Aster from my original watercolour artwork.

I have made a series of cards that depict birthstones and birth flowers for each month. Birthstones are fairly consistent wherever you look for them, but birth flowers vary, so I have just chosen the one that I liked the best.

The original artwork was made by inking up a Gelli plate and then masking the area I was going to paint the flower in and printing. Once the print was dry I added the flower using watercolours. The card was made by a company who scans the original image onto the computer, then colour matches the printed work to my artwork so it is as close as it can get.

This card is for September and shows an Aster flower on an Sapphire background.

The card is blank for your own message, and comes in cellophane to protect it
