A beautiful aventurine pendant, combining this semi-precious stone cabochon with a vintage gold plated bracelet.
Considered as a lucky stone, the name ‘aventurine’ comes from the Italian word ‘aventura’, which means “by chance”. It is a type of quartz that contains particles of mica, a type of mineral that gives this stone it’s beautiful sheen that sparkles in the light. Even in this small stone sample, you can see the variety of stunning shades of green, the light flecks among the dark, to give this overall exquisite stone.
This cabochon has been hand wrapped with part of a vintage bracelet. The original bracelet featured the two thick, gold plated wires wrapped around each other, and two diamante stones set at the end. Sadly, the original bracelet was missing one of these stones, and so has instead been upcycled and hand wrapped in this elegant design around the cabochon, standing out beautifully against the green of the stone.
