All you need is love …. and a dog!

A beautiful appliqued picture of 2 dogs on the beach,
enjoying the sunshine, and gazing into the distance. I have created this by
using a combination of free motion embroidery       ( effectively drawing with your
sewing machine), fabric paint and applique. The background fabrics are layered
cottons, linen, scrims and textured treasures 
and finished with a combination of embroidery and applique.

I love the bright colours, and it was inspired by watching
my own dog enjoy the sand, sun and waves….. i can vary the colours of the
dogs and the number…… just message me with details.

I’ve tried to capture the sparkly sea in the video……
there is a shiny thread running through one of the fabrics which glints
wonderfully in the sun.

The odd frayed edge is part of the process and overall feel
that I was trying to achieve too.

The finished piece measures 40cm x 30cm, with the inner
mount measuring 30cm x 20cm. It is finished with. Landscape orientation. It
comes ready mounted with a high quality Antique White mount, and is attached to
a firm white backboard, ready for just dropping into a frame. It is packaged in
a cello wrapper meaning it can just be wrapped separately if being purchased
for a present.
